In virtually every case we work on a contingency basis. What does that mean? That means that we are not paid for our work by the hour. We do not send clients a bill for our work as it goes forward. If they win their case, our fee is a percentage paid out of the money awarded to them. The benefit to our clients is that if they do not win, they don’t owe money for attorney fees. We think this is an incredibly fair system since many of us could not afford to pay for a lawyer by the hour to resolve our important legal matters.
