Jury Orders Bayer, J&J to Pay $28 Million in Xarelto Lawsuit

Xarelto® is an oral anticoagulant intended to thin the blood and prevent clotting, especially after certain surgeries. The drug is manufactured by Bayer and marketed by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, an affiliate of Johnson & Johnson. Xarelto® has been linked to uncontrollable bleeding, a side effect that can quickly claim lives. Read more about the recent trial here.
